Germany’s PHOSPHENES premiere a striking music video today, entitled “Boy In The Hood.” It’s from their forthcoming album, Find Us Where We’re Hiding, slated to drop May 25.
PHOSPHENES is made up of Julee Bee (vocals and lyrics) and Harry Starbuck (composer and producer). The duo received support from Florian Walther on guitar, while the album was mastered by Rob Murray. The Razzie Awards, which honor the year’s worst films, were announced ahead of the Oscars ceremony on Sunday. Tom Hanks received Razzies for Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Combo for his role in “Elvis” in March 2023. The Razzies described the film as “misogynistic, salacious and fallacious” and criticized it for exploiting the memory of the late Marilyn Monroe.
